Data Set Descriptions

As discussed, we will be working with seven data sets for this project:

  • CUSTOMER_BASE
  • TRANSACTION_TABLE_202001
  • TRANSACTION_TABLE_202002
  • TRANSACTION_TABLE_202003
  • DO_NOT_CALL
  • PROMOTION_HISTORY
  • CALL_LOG

CUSTOMER_BASE

  • The Customer_base data set contains a customer profile for each of the 100,000 customers in our portfolio. It includes information such as gender, income, age, credit card number, phone number, credit limit, account status, marketing consent, etc. 

TRANSACTION TABLES (202001, 202002, 202003) 

  • The three transaction tables (202001, 202002, 202003) contain the transaction records in January, February and March of 2020. 

DO_NOT_CALL

  • The Do_not_call data set contains the phone numbers on the national do-not-call list. 

PROMOTION_HISTORY

  • The Promotion_history data set contains the promotion history for January 2020. 

CALL_LOG

  • The Call_log data set captures the call records from customers when they make phone inquiries to customer service.

Please review the data sets in SAS before starting the project.
